  • 1971-1985: 7 times champion of Greece
  • 1971-1989: Member of the Greek National Team
  • 1982-present: President of the Greek Chess Federation
  • 1986-1990: FIDE Vice President
  • 1990-1996: FIDE General Secretary
  • 1996-present: FIDE Deputy President
